Event Booth

The event booth consist of showcase models that has been published in Hobby Japan, or will be publish in an upcoming issue, and also a section for model/CG works. Since most ahave been in HJ already, I didn't bother ro take much of the photos.

1/100 Gann and Zugock, from the Ora Zaku contest, I think.

GM Sniper by Toshihisa Kushida, from HJ #7 '99. And the GM light armor by Mr.Masaaki Ishii, who also has a booth here at JAF-CON. Selling, of all things, Sailor Moon figures! Upon asking how come a mecha modeler like him open a figure booth, he just cover his head in shame! ;-)

One of the few works from Kikaider serie taht I actually like.

Some of Takuji Yamda's famous work; the Honda P2 robot diorama and the PG Gundam. BTW, I ran into Mr.Yamada on my way back from JAF-CON while changing station. Lucky me, I have him signed my Bigro's box.

Some military stuff for a change, shall we?

A truly work of art 'Angle of Hunters'. Published in the latest SMH magazine. This diorama literally had my jaw dropped! And it's not even Gundam. ;-) Check out the blindingly minute details.
