Guncannon (KRO version)

Bandai 1/144 scale HGUC series plastic kit

I wanted a Guncannon that would go together well with my Gundam Katoki version. So here's my take on it. Taking lots of design element from Katoki's own GM Cannon II. A lot of inspiarations are also taken from Masataka Imai (of Atelier Gengiskahn) 's model. One must have thought I'm Katoki crazy or something. While it's true to a certain exthent, in this case it's more like a parody.

Can you guess where does that knee armor originally came from?


Cockpit hatch can be opened with hinge joint. I raised the neck cover/armor a little, now it looks like a scarf. ^^;

 

2nd Stage

In this session, new backpack is introduced. Shoulder cannons are now moved to the back instead. I had just realized while taking these photos that the mouth cover has fallen off, and is nowhere to be found. Rats!

Upper leg lengthen by 3mm. The foot utilize double ball joint for better mobility. Cuff made with plastic burner, as usual.
