What? It's a scatch built drive bay cover lid for a personal computer. Completed with a heat ventilation hole and fake LEDs. Hmmm, for once I actually made something that is functional. :-) Why? Well, a couple years ago, I upgraded my computer hard drive into a super-expensive SCSI 8.5 GB. Turned out, it didn't quite fit into where my old drive was, so I had to install it in a different location which unfortunately has no good ventilation. The drive got boiling hot after using for a while. So, I decided to install extra fan for it. The problem is there was still no outlet for the hot air. I happened to have one unused drive bay left, then out popped this evil idea. Phew... |
