Here's a rough pictorial showing some of the steps I took in making this. Only took pictures of only certain phase though, but anyway.

This show all the basic pieces after being baked. The shell has gone through some cosmetical slap of junk parts, and texturing already.

The head (if you can call it that) with simple panel lines and some "facial" features to help accentuate the face area. I originally use a simple big ball joint to hold it with the main body, but later alter it with double ball joint to add some mobility, when he was casted in a stop-motion shoot.
I had to label each leg as not to confuse one with the others. The ones for the front have 3 toes, while the hind legs have 2. Toes are joined with using amature wire. A quick and dirty way of articulating parts. As with the head, I used bal joint to attach them, but also changed into double ball later.

The housing slot for engine is carved with chisel. I had to destroy an old 1/24 car kit I built some 15 years ago to salvage this engine. (T_T). Other stuff includes the 4 minus molds on top, a couple of radome-like device on the front and some more panel lining to organize them all together.

Oh oh, the gray stuff is, of course, the good ol' Tamiya Putty.

Looks decent enough after priming. I went though a few rubs of fine gritted sand paper, and it's ready to be painted.

And then a few hours later, he's done.
